Vivian Finally Arrives in MONGIL: STAR DIVE
MONGIL: STAR DIVE has welcomed back one of the most popular characters from the original Monster Taming, with Netmarble adding Vivian to the monster-taming action RPG in its latest update.
Vivian returns as a 5-star Fire-attribute Support character and brings a fresh look to her role as the bunny girl headliner of the Fluffy Tail Troupe, a traveling dance company known for its dazzling performances. Her abilities focus on boosting Fire-based teams through increased Fire damage and Fire-attribute debuffs, making her a useful addition for players building around the element.
Players can also take part in the three-week Bunny Showgirl’s Eternal Encore event, which features missions and event dungeons with rewards such as Summon Tickets and growth materials. Meanwhile, the new Epic Quest, Collector of Desires, explores more of Vivian’s story.
Netmarble also shared an updated roadmap during a September 2 livestream. Version 1.4, arriving on September 30, will introduce Episode 7, the Gaba Archipelago region, returning character summon banners, and special events for the game’s 0.5-year anniversary. Future updates will add a revamped Friend System, Ranking and Honor features, Holiday and New Year stories, character epilogues, and new Affinity and Interaction content.
As a reimagining of 2013’s Monster Taming, MONGIL: STAR DIVE combines Unreal Engine 5 visuals with real-time combat and a three-character tag system. With Vivian finally joining the roster, longtime fans have another reason to jump back in.
