Prepare to Dive Into Chaos With SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL
Gas God Games has announced that SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL, its bizarre and atmospheric underwater shooter RPG, will officially launch on Steam on August 27. Players who already tried the free KRILL CONFIRMED prologue can also jump into the full release without losing their progress.
Set in a decaying underwater world filled with corrupted sea creatures and massive Lovecraftian bosses, SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL combines third-person shooting, RPG progression, exploration, and plenty of chaotic multiplayer action. Players can enjoy the entire campaign solo or with up to six players in online co-op.
Players take control of the Submersible Hydrodynamic Research Integrated Marine Platform, or SHRIMP, and can choose from six elemental classes. These powers can be combined into more than two dozen elemental fusions, including Magma, Smog, Moon, Demon, and Bone. There are also 11 different SHRIMP platforms, each offering unique strengths and playstyles.
Combat features more than two dozen weapons, ranging from heavy cannons and shotguns to machine guns, alongside stat upgrades and rarities for further customization.
Beyond the main campaign, players can challenge their friends in PvP modes such as Shrimp Royale, Tag, Boss Mode, and Capture The Turtles. The underwater world itself offers plenty to discover, including ancient ruins, hidden treasures, puzzles, strange characters, and enormous bosses such as volcano-dwelling hermit crabs and giant electric eels.
With its strange aquatic setting and chaotic co-op gameplay, SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL looks ready to make a splash when it arrives on Steam.
