Ukrainian solo developer ARMAG has officially confirmed that TIC-TAC: Twelve o’clock will launch on Steam on August 19. Published by Two Cakes Studio, the upcoming action-horror game throws players into a terrifying night inside the abandoned Bluebird High School, where four friends set out to uncover the truth behind the school’s mysterious closure.
Inspired by classic survival horror games from the early 1990s, TIC-TAC: Twelve o’clock begins after several students vanish without explanation, prompting authorities to shut down the school. Determined to learn what really happened, the group investigates the building. However, after one of them sneaks into the security room searching for clues, the clock strikes midnight. This unleashes supernatural horrors throughout the school.
The gameplay revolves around monitoring security cameras to track paranormal threats lurking in hallways and classrooms. Careful observation is key, as even the smallest detail can mean the difference between survival and death. Each ghost behaves differently and has unique weaknesses, encouraging players to learn their patterns and react accordingly.
Managing the school’s failing power system is just as important. Cameras, lights, and security shutters all depend on electricity, forcing players to restore fuses and keep the generator running while trying to survive the night. Losing power leaves the building and its terrifying inhabitants completely unchecked.
