Allogloom Launches This October With an Eerie Hand-Painted World to Explore

Unravel the Mystery in Allogloom

Solo developer Kate, also known as Galactic Ghosty, and publisher Iceberg Interactive have announced that Allogloom will officially launch on Steam on October 13, 2026. The hand-painted point-and-click mystery adventure is set to arrive just in time for the spooky season, bringing players a cozy yet unsettling experience filled with secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Set in the eerie town of Gruesome Grove, Allogloom follows Nora as she investigates the mysterious disappearance of the town’s residents. While the colorful, hand-painted world may appear charming at first glance, an ominous presence lingers beneath the surface. Strange moths seem to be watching every move, and the deeper Nora explores, the darker the town’s hidden history becomes.

The adventure unfolds across eight chapters, taking players through six unique worlds packed with beautifully illustrated locations, forgotten relics, and intriguing clues. The game ties its puzzles closely to its lore and quirky inhabitants instead of relying on trial and error. This encourages players to carefully observe their surroundings and piece together the mystery.

Players who enjoyed Strange Horticulture will likely appreciate Allogloom’s blend of cozy exploration and creeping suspense. Its atmospheric storytelling and distinctive art style create an experience that feels both comforting and haunting at the same time.

Ahead of launch, a free Steam demo is already available, giving players an early look at Gruesome Grove. The demo has received positive feedback for its striking hand-painted visuals, immersive storytelling, and unique mix of whimsy and horror.

With its charming presentation hiding an increasingly unsettling mystery, Allogloom looks set to be a memorable indie adventure for fans of cozy games with a darker twist this October.
