Super Rare Originals and developer Inresin have officially released Gecko Gods on the Nintendo Switch 2, giving players another way to experience the relaxing exploration adventure. Better yet, anyone who already owns the game on the original Nintendo Switch can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version at no additional cost.
Alongside this new release, the developers have rolled out the free Forgotten Cove content update across all platforms. The update introduces a brand new island to discover, along with extra cosmetic items that let players customize their tiny gecko companion.
In Gecko Gods, players step into the role of a small gecko exploring a forgotten world. The place is full of ancient ruins, hidden relics, and plenty of bugs to snack on. Each island offers its own unique environment, temples, and puzzles. This encourages players to take their time and uncover the mysteries scattered throughout the peaceful landscape.
