Unrailed 2: Back on Track Is Coming Out on June 11 and It’s Bigger Than Before

Join the Chaos in Unrailed 2: Back on Track

Unrailed 2: Back on Track has officially locked in its release date, with the chaotic co-op railway builder set to arrive on June 11. Developed by Indoor Astronaut, the game is preparing to leave Early Access on PC while simultaneously launching on consoles, including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The sequel builds on the fast-paced, teamwork-driven gameplay that made the original a hit. In Unrailed 2: Back on Track, players must cooperate to keep a constantly moving train on its tracks, gathering resources and laying rails across procedurally generated environments. This time, the journey expands with six distinct biomes, each featuring unique challenges and boss encounters that push coordination and quick thinking to the limit.

The game also introduces a range of new features designed to enhance replayability. Players can unlock upgrades for both their characters and trains, explore community-created maps, and jump into multiple modes, including Time, Sandbox, and competitive Versus options supporting up to eight players. Whether playing locally on the couch or with friends online, the experience leans heavily into controlled chaos and shared problem-solving.

Ahead of launch, players can already try out a free demo available on Nintendo Switch, while pre-orders for the full release have gone live across platforms.

With its mix of frantic gameplay, expanded content, and broader platform availability, Unrailed 2: Back on Track looks set to deliver another engaging co-op experience. As launch day approaches, it stands ready to welcome both returning players and newcomers aboard for a lively, unpredictable ride.
