Join the Adrenaline-Pumping Action in Viscerafest
Fulqrum Publishing has confirmed that its fast-paced arena shooter Viscerafest is heading to consoles, with launches planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 9. The release is set to coincide with Lovecraftian Days 2026, a week-long celebration of cosmic horror titles running from April 9 to April 16. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development, though it will arrive at a later date.

Originally available on Steam, Viscerafest delivers a high-intensity single-player FPS experience centered around Caroline, a chaotic mercenary driven by a personal mission to claim a coveted ring. Set within a strange sci-fi fantasy universe, the game blends absurd humor with brutal combat, encouraging players to stay mobile, manage resources, and eliminate enemies with speed and precision.
The upcoming console versions promise a refined experience, featuring an updated user interface, improved performance, and full controller support designed to make the action feel fluid across platforms. Players will explore handcrafted levels packed with secrets, puzzles, and varied objectives, spanning locations from orbiting space stations to surreal, reality-bending environments.
Combat is a major highlight, offering nine distinct weapons, including the explosive “Bunker Buster” shotgun and the unconventional Plague Rifle. Players will face more than 27 enemy types and multiple bosses, each introducing new attack patterns and challenges. Fast movement mechanics such as bunny hopping and dashing play a key role, allowing players to weave through intense firefights.
With unlockable modifiers and cheats adding replay value, Viscerafest continues to expand its chaotic, adrenaline-fueled gameplay as it prepares for its console debut.
