Help Shape Space Imperia 4X by Signing up Now

Space strategy fans have something new to watch, as Breich Games LLC has officially opened signups for the multiplayer closed beta of Space Imperia 4X. This upcoming title is a digital adaptation of the well-known board game Space Empires 4X by GMT Games, and it aims to bring the full depth of the tabletop experience to PC. The closed beta will run from May 15 to May 25, 2026, with registrations now live on Steam.

Space Imperia 4X

The game has been designed with multiplayer at its core. Over the past six months, the developers have focused heavily on improving AI behavior and refining the overall presentation. While a public demo released on March 19 allows players to try the game in solo mode, internal testing for multiplayer has been ongoing behind the scenes for quite some time.

This beta phase will focus on several key areas. The team plans to identify and fix issues within the multiplayer server system, test the lobby functionality, and evaluate how turn timers perform in both fast-paced matches and longer asynchronous sessions. Additional testing will cover account systems and Discord notification features, along with gathering player feedback to further improve the experience.

Space Imperia 4X stays true to its roots, offering detailed economic management, exploration, and combat systems, all adapted into a modern digital format. With flexible AI options and support for both live and long-term matches, it aims to appeal to both casual and dedicated strategy players.

As the beta approaches, this marks an important step toward shaping the game’s multiplayer future before its full release.
