Wishlist Island for Sale Right Now
Korean indie duo TyrannoRocket has officially revealed its debut project, Island For Sale, with the game’s Steam page now live. It’s an atmospheric scavenging adventure set on a mysterious, fog-covered island, with a planned release window in Q2 2026.
Built around a stylized low-poly visual design, Island For Sale leans heavily into exploration and progression. Players arrive on what appears to be a worthless dump of trash, only to discover that every piece of junk holds value. They use a quirky system called the Scrap Exchanger to turn collected waste into money. This creates a satisfying gameplay loop that encourages them to gather more, upgrade their tools, and explore the island deeper.
Progression keeps the experience engaging throughout. Players improve their lantern to navigate the darkness more effectively, expand their fuel capacity to avoid getting stranded, and increase their bag space to carry more items. They also unlock better traversal options, including ziplines that allow faster movement across areas they have already explored.
A central mystery drives the journey beyond scavenging. There is a suspiciously cheap advertisement that draws players to the island, where they learn they must locate a lost personal item belonging to the island’s owner. The game adds another layer to its economy with the “JackpotProtocol”. It’s a risky method that lets players manipulate the Scrap Exchanger for significantly higher rewards.
With its mix of exploration, upgrades, and light strategy, Island For Sale is already looking like a promising addition to the indie scene.
