Independent developer Inkolor Games has officially launched the demo for Inkremental on Steam, offering players a colorful first look at its quirky, paint-filled gameplay.
Inkremental is a compact incremental experience that revolves around splattering paint across canvases by popping vibrant blobs of color. The game takes inspiration from iconic artworks, reimagining them with a playful and humorous twist. As players progress, they gradually bring each masterpiece to life while unlocking new tools and features that expand their creative possibilities.
The demo delivers a bite-sized yet engaging experience, with an estimated playtime of 30 minutes to an hour. During this time, players can explore a progression system packed with over 50 upgrades, each designed to enhance the painting process and add more depth to the gameplay loop.
In addition to its core mechanics, the demo also introduces a light challenge element through quirky mini-boss encounters, adding variety and a touch of unpredictability. Players can also experiment with three distinct color themes, allowing for a more personalized visual style.
