Rev Your Engine in 4PGP
3goo has launched 4PGP, a multiplayer Japanese arcade-style racing game designed to welcome players of every skill level. The game is available now for $19.99 USD on Nintendo Switch and $24.99 USD on Nintendo Switch 2.
To celebrate the release, 3goo has shared a launch trailer. It showcases 4PGP’s high-speed racing action and its range of multiplayer options. Alongside classic local split-screen play, the trailer highlights Nintendo Switch 2’s new GameShare feature, which lets multiple players race together using a single copy of the game.
Drawing on its experience publishing well-known racing titles such as Test Drive and Gear.Club, 3goo crafted 4PGP to blend a nostalgic 90s arcade feel with smooth, modern performance. Up to four players can race locally in split-screen. Nintendo Switch 2 owners can take advantage of GameShare for easy local multiplayer and GameChat for online races. Players can tailor the challenge by selecting from Rookie, Novice, Veteran, or Expert difficulty levels, then dive into Quick Race, Championship Mode, or Time Attack Mode. As they compete on tracks inspired by locations around the world, players unlock new cars and chase faster lap times.
4PGP also features contributions from arcade racing veterans. Designer Kenji Sasaki, known for classics like Sega Rally and Ridge Racer, helped shape the game’s handling and feel. An energetic original soundtrack by Tomoyuki Kawamura, whose credits include Virtua Racing and Tokyo Xtreme Racer, completes the experience.
On Nintendo Switch 2, 4PGP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition delivers enhanced visuals and performance, offering Full HD at 120fps or 4K at 60fps, along with full GameShare support for seamless multiplayer fun.
