Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf Dropped a 10 Minute Exclusive Gameplay Video

Check Out New Locations of Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf

Wishfully Studios and publisher Thunderful have unveiled a never-before-seen location from Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf with a new video showcasing 10 minutes of unedited gameplay. The highly anticipated cinematic puzzle adventure is set to launch in early 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.

The new footage follows Lana and her loyal companion Mui as they sneak and puzzle their way through Novo’s Northern Wastelands. What begins as a desolate journey soon reveals a haunting sight: the region has transformed into an endless graveyard of fallen robots. Their exploration leads them to a colossal, mysterious wall marked with a familiar symbol. After slipping inside through shadowy sewers and murky waters, the duo uncovers something entirely new and unsettling, unlike anything previously seen on Novo.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf expands on the original with deeper mechanics and more ambitious design. Players will experience an evolved companion system that strengthens the bond between Lana and Mui, allowing for more precise control, richer exploration, and cooperative puzzle-solving. The game introduces a wider range of clever, physics-based puzzles, including the ability to hypnotize strange creatures and manipulate new hybrid robots.

Stealth plays a larger role, with refined mechanics that reward careful planning and smart movement. Action sequences also feel more dynamic, thanks to Lana’s expanded agility, including wall jumps, run-slides, and faster traversal. Beyond gameplay, the sequel delivers a longer and more emotionally charged sci-fi story, complete with new underwater chapters and darker secrets. Returning composer Takeshi Furukawa once again provides a powerful, cinematic score that heightens every emotional moment.
