Neolithic Dawn, the VR survival adventure that debuted in Early Access on Meta Quest this past summer, has evolved once again. Version 1.0 officially launches on 11th December 2025, marking a major milestone for the indie development team.
Over six months of Early Access, the Neolithic Dawn team closely collaborated with players, gathering feedback to refine gameplay and expand the survival experience. The full release introduces a host of additions, including a new story-driven introduction and enhanced interactive environmental elements. As well as a suite of Quality-of-Life improvements. The developers have redesigned the Menu systems for smoother navigation, making the official launch a standout achievement for the team.
Set against the breathtaking landscapes of 10,000 BC North America, the game immerses players in a realistic, physics-driven survival world. Craft tools and weapons by hand, scale perilous cliffs, and explore expansive maps teeming with era-accurate wildlife. Players can hunt Ice Age creatures for sustenance or tame them as companions, all while scavenging resources critical for survival. Every choice matters, and death is never the end—only the gateway to your next challenge.
