A New Update Is Also Live in MIMESIS
ReLU Games and KRAFTON, Inc. have announced that MIMESIS has surpassed one million copies sold worldwide just 50 days after its Early Access launch on Steam. The four-player co-op horror title continues to gain momentum alongside a new update that expands core systems and gameplay depth. To mark the milestone, the game is also available at a 20% discount during the Steam Winter Sale until January 5, 2026.
MIMESIS is a fast-paced co-op horror experience built around an adaptive AI-driven creature that observes and learns from player behavior. Teams of four must gather Scrap, repair an escape tram, and work together under constant pressure. The threat comes from a creature that mimics player movement, voice patterns, and tactical decisions in real time, creating tense and unpredictable encounters. Each session unfolds differently, leading to emergent moments that define the game’s replay value and atmosphere.
The sales milestone represents KRAFTON’s second million-selling title of 2025, following the Early Access success of inZOI. Since launch, MIMESIS has seen strong global engagement supported by positive user feedback, frequent updates, and rapid adoption among content creators. The game recently reached the top position on Japan’s Steam Top Sellers chart, performed strongly across multiple regions, and currently holds a Very Positive rating, with 91 percent positive reviews over the past 30 days. Player shared clips have further amplified its AI-driven chaos, helping MIMESIS reach the number one spot in YouTube’s Gaming category in several markets.
The latest December update introduces tram and gear upgrade systems, expanded AI behavior patterns, and four new emotes, adding more variety to co op play. MIMESIS has also added Turkish and Polish language support. The developers are also evaluating additional localizations based on community feedback.
