Sanrio GmbH, the company behind beloved characters like Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody, has teamed up with Tap Tap Tales to introduce a new mobile experience called Hello Kitty and Friends World. This colourful interactive city invites children into a bright blend of creativity, play, and gentle storytelling.
The app invites young players into a lively world built around friendship. According to Xavier Prats of Tap Tap Tales, the goal was to create a joyful space where children can express themselves freely. The result is a safe digital playground full of imagination and warmth.
Hello Kitty and Friends World gives children a wide range of activities to enjoy. They can spend time with nine familiar Sanrio characters, including favorites such as Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Pompompurin. Each character has its own themed house with five rooms that you can customize.
Players can decorate spaces and experiment with more than one hundred food combinations. All while interacting with animated furniture and objects that respond in charming ways. The app also offers twenty-seven mini-games, three for each character, encouraging creativity and exploration through simple, engaging challenges.
Along the way, children can collect over twenty-five plushies, adding them to their world as decorations or playful companions. The entire experience is designed without rules, timers, or pressure, giving kids room to create their own stories at their own pace.
With this release, Sanrio and Tap Tap Tales bring the gentle spirit of the Sanrio universe to mobile devices, offering a friendly environment where imagination blossoms and every moment feels welcoming.
