GHOST CAM Is Launching on PC and Meta VR Headsets in January 2026

Become a Lone Photographer in GHOST CAM

Arch Rebels has announced that GHOST CAM will launch on January 19th, 2026, for Steam and Meta VR headsets. The reveal took place during the Women Led Games Showcase: The Game Awards Edition. The game blends psychological horror, surreal dreamlike environments, and a distinctive horse girl aesthetic inspired by the 1970s and 1980s. It presents a single-player paranormal investigation experience where each visit to its shifting world reshapes the mystery at its center.

A new trailer released alongside the announcement offers a look at previously unseen locations, unusual spirit encounters, and updated gameplay for both VR and non-VR players. The footage highlights the game’s eerie atmosphere and its focus on exploration through photography.

In GHOST CAM, players take on the role of a solitary paranormal photographer who moves through liminal spaces marked by ghostly echoes and hidden stories. Equipped with a Polaroid-style camera, they capture spirits, uncover spectral traces, and solve layered puzzles that gradually reveal the path deeper into the haunted dreamscape.

The game’s aesthetic places players in surreal stables, fragments of fading childhood memories, and long hallways where soft hoofbeats seem to follow from a distance. Spirits vary in nature. Some observe quietly, others offer guidance, and a few create unsettling encounters that test the player’s instincts. Every choice influences the Ghost Hunter ranking, opens paths to concealed mysteries, and leads toward one of several possible endings.

GHOST CAM draws inspiration from contemporary psychological horror while focusing on a tightly crafted solo narrative. It combines chilling ambience with emotional storytelling and offers strong replay value. Players can experience its world through full VR immersion or through a traditional screen-based approach. You can also wishlist the game right now on both platforms.
