Carbon Unveils Its First Community Challenge

A Cyberpunk World Awaits in Carbon

The cyberpunk action RPG Carbon has launched its first major community challenge, Race to the Helipad, pushing players into a high-stakes sprint through the dangerous Ruhan mining facility. The event tests both precision and endurance, offering two distinct modes that cater to different playstyles.

In Softcore Mode, players can respawn after death, giving them the freedom to experiment with builds and perfect their approach across multiple runs. Hardcore Mode, on the other hand, offers no second chances. One mistake ends the attempt, making every move critical as players fight to reach the extraction point.

Each mode has its own leaderboard, ensuring fair competition between risk-takers and strategists alike. The top three players in both categories will receive exclusive rewards, including themed victory banners, Carbon T-shirts, in-game coins, and a special Victory Player Frame for first-place winners. Every participant who completes at least one valid run will also earn the limited Helipad Racer profile frame, marking their participation in Carbon’s first community event.

The Race to the Helipad challenge is live now and will continue until November 20, 2025, at 17:00 CEST. Players can jump into the competition by downloading the updated Carbon demo on Steam.

Developed as a fast-paced cyberpunk ARPG, Carbon blends intense melee combat with dynamic ranged weapon systems and deep character customization. Set in a world where neon lights illuminate rusted steel and shifting dust, it offers a grim yet electrifying vision of the future.
