Get Ready for the Battle in THE CUBE, SAVE US

XLGAMES has announced that its upcoming extraction action title, THE CUBE, SAVE US, is undergoing a significant phase of development focused on core improvements inspired by player feedback gathered during Steam Next Fest. Originally planned for a Q4 2025 Early Access release, the game’s launch has now been rescheduled to Q1 2026 to allow for further refinement.

During the October showcase, THE CUBE, SAVE US drew remarkable attention, ranking third in peak concurrent players and eighth among the most played global demos. The game’s fast-paced escape action mechanics and inventive map design earned widespread praise, helping it exceed 150,000 wishlists on Steam.

XLGAMES stated that the team will use the extra development time to optimize performance, improve the UI and UX, and reinforce server stability to ensure a more seamless experience at launch. Producer Youngsung Park expressed gratitude to the community, emphasizing the studio’s dedication to meeting player expectations through ongoing feedback and refinement.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by nuclear war, THE CUBE, SAVE US immerses players in a high-stakes struggle for survival centered around The Cube, a mysterious alien device that has reshaped Earth. Players must navigate 27 procedurally generated maps, gather resources, battle mutants and rival survivors, and escape before time runs out. Combining real-time destruction, dynamic environments, and intense PvPvE encounters, the game aims to deliver unpredictable and adrenaline-fueled gameplay each time.

With its extended development timeline and growing community anticipation, THE CUBE, SAVE US is positioning itself as one of the most ambitious new action titles heading into 2026.
