New Battle Awaits in Honkai Impact 3rd
The Honkai Impact 3rd team has announced that version 8.5, titled “A Love Full of Light”, will launch on October 23. This update brings a wave of new content, featuring Elysia’s latest Rank S battlesuit, “Hi♪♥ Elf of Love”. Captains can dive into new stories, explore fresh locations, and earn valuable rewards through events, weapons, and outfits.
Elysia’s “Hi♪♥ Elf of Love” is an STS-type battlesuit that uses a bow to unleash graceful yet powerful attacks. She can summon tiny messengers to perform a four-sequence combo that deals Ice Damage. Her signature weapon, Whispers of Pure Love, and the Days of Happiness stigma set will be released alongside her. The new god key, Sea-Purifying Bud, and its PRI form, Sea-Purifying Bud: Connectedness, will also be added, offering more tactical depth to battles.
The latest story chapter, “Reunited in the Light of Faith”, introduces a new region, Difeng. This city, built by Senadina and her friends, blends nature and technology and serves as Leylah’s hometown. Players will explore the Natural History Memorial in Difeng as a series of mysterious events unfold, marking the beginning of a new story arc.
The version’s main event, “With You! Youthful Dreams,” takes place at St. Freya High School and the Goldener Hof. After Kiana wishes for a carefree school life, Ellie creates a special one-day campus experience. However, strange forces emerge as the homework mafia threatens to ruin the fun. Completing missions in this event grants tokens redeemable for rewards like Heavy Metal’s Brainiac Dark Lord outfit and crystals.
Alongside the in-game update, Honkai Impact 3rd will also release a limited ROG Phone 9 collaboration gift box featuring an Ellie design, a custom phone case, and themed accessories, launching under the motto “Enlightened by Love” on October 23.
