Have Fun in Destiny 2
The annual Solstice event has arrived in Destiny 2, inviting all Guardians to celebrate with Eva Levante from now until August 19. Open to all players, this limited-time summer event introduces Solar-inspired modifiers to Portal activities, turning up the heat and excitement across the system.
A central feature of the event is the Solstice Forge, where players can craft and customize their armor with a signature glow exclusive to Solstice. This year’s rewards include new weapons like the Yeartide Apex Solar Submachine Gun and the Festival Flight Strand Grenade Launcher, alongside the return of the Fortunate Star Void Bow.
Players can also take on event-specific challenges in the Event Home to earn seasonal cosmetics. This includes a Solstice-themed emblem, a unique Ghost shell, and Holofoil weapon variants. You can also embrace the season’s spirit as the Eververse store now offers pool party-themed armor sets that blend fun with flair.
Alongside in-game festivities, the Bungie Store is hosting Solstice Savings from August 5 at 10:00 am PT through August 19 at 9:59 am PT. Discounts are available on a range of products, including the NERF LMTD Destiny 2 Ace of Spades Blaster, The Art of Destiny Vol. 3, and the Floating Traveler Lamp. Every purchase made during this period includes the exclusive “Sunburst” emblem.
As part of the celebration, Bungie is offering a flat shipping rate of $7.77 for all standard orders within the continental US, EU, and UK throughout the event.
