Depersonalization Receives Complete English Overhaul

Welcome to the World of Depersonalization

MeowNature Studio has completed a full English localization of Depersonalization, its dark, narrative-rich RPG inspired by Lovecraftian horror and tabletop classics like Call of Cthulhu. Previously hampered by translation issues, the game now offers a polished experience for English-speaking players.

Depersonalization

This extensive update retranslates over 450,000 words across all current story modules. This includes All in One and One in All, Lies and Frauds, Soladnit, and Cursenday’s Black Carnival. The module editor and tutorials have also been fully localized, opening the door for players to create and share their own stories.

The game is currently available on Steam, with the English localization update now live. A 35% discount runs until June 12 at 10:00 AM EDT.

To keep players informed, MeowNature has launched a Monthly Report series. In the latest post, the studio previewed several new developments:

Online Multiplayer Expansion

-A full cooperative mode is in development, evolving the existing test into a traditional RPG-style experience focused on collaborative storytelling.

New Scenario: London Core of Steam

– Created with designer FogCoffee, this upcoming module is set in a gaslit Victorian-era London and brings fresh horrors rooted in the Cthulhu mythos.

Spine-Based Animation System

– A new skeletal animation system will replace frame-by-frame animation, enabling smoother performance, more expressive characters, and better customization.

UI and Accessibility Updates

– Player feedback has guided improvements in inventory management and text readability, with more refinements on the way.

With these updates, Depersonalization is positioning itself as a deep, customizable horror RPG with strong narrative appeal for a global audience.
