Critter Crossfire Launches July 10 on Steam With Physics-Driven Tactics

Test Your Skills in Critter Crossfire

The fast-paced turn-based tactics roguelike Critter Crossfire is officially set to launch on Steam on July 10. Developed as a fresh take on strategy gaming, Critter Crossfire removes the typical RNG (random number generator) mechanics and instead brings physics-based precision to the battlefield, rewarding skill and creativity over chance.

Rather than relying on percentages to hit or miss, players in Critter Crossfire must carefully aim their shots, incorporating bounce angles, environment features, and trick shots into their plans. Each encounter becomes a mix of careful planning and wild improvisation, keeping gameplay tense and dynamic.

The game features a single-player roguelike campaign alongside 2 to 4-player local multiplayer, making it suitable for solo strategists and competitive gatherings alike. With over 100 chaotic items to unlock and experiment with, players can create unique loadouts by mixing weapons and upgrades that cater to their style of play.

Campaign mode also offers 16 distinct challenge modifiers, encouraging fresh approaches on every run. From spinning walls to conveyor belts, map mechanics actively shape each match and demand adaptability.

Steam Remote Play is fully supported, so players can invite friends online for multiplayer matches even without local setups.
