Smalland: Survive the Wilds Launches Cross-Play Alongside a Massive Update

Immerse Yourself in Smalland: Survive the Wilds

Maximum Entertainment has announced a major milestone for Smalland: Survive the Wilds. Cross-play is officially live. Starting today, players across Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 can now join forces and explore the miniature wilderness together in seamless online multiplayer.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds

This long-awaited feature arrives alongside a massive update introducing Guilds, Companion Summoning, Stables, new Northern Tree Encampments, and an all-new mysterious creature.

Guilds Expand Co-op Play

Players can now create and manage server-wide guilds that persist across sessions. Each guild shares a central Guild Tree Encampment, available as long as one member is online. Players can build, defend, and personalize this shared base and even revive teammates mid-adventure using a new consumable item.

New Role for Companions

Companions gain more importance in this update. They can now be housed in one of three new stable types based on size. Players can summon companions at will from encampments or call them into the field using a Summoning Pebble. If a companion gets lost, the new Homecoming Totem brings them back to camp.

Explore the Northern Frontier

The update expands the Overlands with two new Tree Encampments in the north. Players can unlock them through Bonniedel and take on a brand-new quest featuring the Rufous-Bellied Tit, a never-before-seen creature that adds fresh mystery to the world of Smalland.

Whether you are building a thriving guild base or adventuring with friends across platforms, this update brings a host of features that deepen and enrich the Smalland experience. Take a look at the new cross-play trailer below.
