Without a Dawn Is Almost Here
The solo indie game developer Jesse Makkonen has announced that Without a Dawn will launch on Steam on 19th May 2025. The game is currently under development for PC only, however, there are plans to release it on consoles later. Moreover, it won’t be coming out on Android and iOS as far as we know, but stay tuned for more updates in the future.
Without a Dawn is a psychological horror visual novel with eerie, thought-provoking themes and stunning pseudo-ASCII art. It follows the story of a girl as she escapes to a remote cabin. She wishes for peace from her restless thoughts. With nothing to distract her, the silence settles around her like a heavy blanket. Yet sleep does not come easily. The cold wind weaves through the trees, creating an eerie sound that lingers in the air.
