Pairs & Perils is a memory-based roguelike dungeon crawler. You will match cards to battle foes, dodge traps, and buy powerful relics and items. Test your memory while exploring the dungeon in pursuit of The Dealer. Study the cards on the table. Match each hero with their weapon to take down enemies and stay clear of traps. Traps cause damage and end your turn. Enemies have attack counters that drop each turn, bringing them closer to striking.
Enemies might use unique abilities to make things harder for you, like stealing your gold or flooding the table with skeleton cards. And just when you think things are under control, they might destroy the relic you worked so hard to get. Every playthrough of the game offers you a unique experience. Enemies, relics, and consumables are all random, so you never know what awaits in the next room. At the end of the dungeon, a tough boss awaits. Each time you play, the boss may change as well.
