Unwording Is Coming to Xbox and PlayStation This Month

An Uplifting Journey Awaits in Unwording

It is time to overcome your mental struggles and embark on a journey away from negativity. Frostwood Interactive and Nejcraft are thrilled to announce that Unwording is launching on PlayStation and Xbox on 10th December. This title is more than a game, it’s a moment to explore mental health and discover the impact of shifting perspectives.

Unwording

In Unwording, you join Tom, a man caught in a loop of negative thinking, where even everyday objects turn into word puzzles feeding his doubts. As Tom solves these puzzles, his view of the world shifts, transforming from a flat, gloomy outlook to one that’s brighter and more open, mirroring his journey toward hope.

Tom’s journey goes beyond solving puzzles and focuses on transforming his mindset. As players progress, the puzzles change from discouraging to uplifting, reflecting Tom’s growth. The visual presentation shows this transformation, starting in 2D, progressing to 2.5D, and ultimately expanding into a vivid 3D world.

Key Features:

– Three Evolving Art Styles: From 2D to 2.5D to 3D, the visuals reflect Tom’s mental growth.
– A Silent, Heartfelt Story: Told entirely without dialogue, relying on visual storytelling to convey its deep emotional themes.
– Challenging Word Puzzles: These puzzles evolve along with Tom’s perspective, shifting from negative to positive.
– Optional Easy Mode: For players who want to focus on the story without the challenge of difficult puzzles.
– A Soothing Soundtrack by Trevor Kowalski, evolving with the game’s emotional tone.

Unwording is also available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. So, make sure to check it out!
