K-topia is thrilled to announce that its upcoming action RPG SamVSTom will be launching on Steam on 9 January 2025. The standard price will be $26.5, however, there will be a 10% launch promotion and it will be available for $23.85 until 15th January. The game tells the story of two childhood friends, Tom and Sam. They grew up together from elementary school through high school, always by each other’s side. In college, their paths began to drift apart. Tom dropped out in his second year to support his family by working, while Sam graduated and launched a social media app that made him wealthy.
Life seemed perfect for Sam, but something felt missing. But one day, he realized, “I built an app to connect people, yet I’ve lost touch with someone who mattered most.” Determined to change that, Sam decided to visit Tom on his birthday only to find that his buddy was not the same as before.
Players will engage in thrilling third-person action battles in this intense game where every stage brings new challenges. Each level pits you against Toms with unique attack patterns, testing your ability to read their movements and strike at the right moment. The path to victory isn’t just about combat, some stages require navigating tricky gimmicks, from labyrinthine layouts to precarious falling platforms. Guide Sam, a determined company president rather than a superpowered hero, through these obstacles. With no HP recovery and no chance to continue, every move counts as you strive to halt Tom’s ambitions with careful strategy and limited resources.
