Curry Princess GOLD Is Launching on Switch and Steam Next Year

Ready to Cook in Curry Princess GOLD

Mediascape Corporation is delighted to let everyone know that Birdkin Studio has joined the “Play, Doujin!” project. The studio’s upcoming casual 2D arcade game, Curry Princess GOLD will be coming out on Nintendo Switch and Steam in 2025. Moreover, Birdkin Studio itself will publish the Steam version of the game.

Curry Princess GOLD

Curry Princess GOLD is a casual action game from Birdkin Studio, a small but creative duo made up of Saori Utsumi and Hideaki Utsumi. Alongside their game development, they’re popular for their pet bird, Gumi-chan. Its unique “WUE WUE WUE” chirping turned into a viral meme overseas, gaining attention far beyond their studio’s work.

In this game, you gather spices falling from the sky to earn gold and cook curries. Its easy controls and laid-back pace aim to bring a bit of joy to your day. Inspired by the mobile game Curry Princess this upgraded version introduces a story mode with rival battles, a two-player mode, and a global leaderboard to compete for high scores.

Here are some features of the three modes:

– Classic Mode: An endless score-attack challenge, a remastered and reimagined version for an enhanced gameplay experience.

– Story Mode: Unfold an engaging story as you progress through episodes.

– 2P Mode: Play local co-op or PvP with a friend, choosing from stages you’ve cleared in Story Mode.
