Let the War Begin in Battlefall: State of Conflict
MicroProse, the legendary studio behind some of the most iconic simulation and strategy games, is excited to introduce its latest title, Battlefall: State of Conflict. This fast-paced, post-apocalyptic real-time strategy (RTS) game draws inspiration from dystopian worlds like Mad Max and Terminator.
Created by the independent developers at Kyoto Video Game Concern, Battlefall is the result of 80,000 hours of dedication. The developer duo has teamed up with MicroProse to bring a new generation the same excitement that shaped their journey. Moreover, the vertical slice, multiplayer demo, and leaderboards are available now through the Steam Next Fest.
“MicroProse is known for delivering unforgettable strategy games, and Battlefall perfectly aligns with our mission to push the boundaries of the genre while keeping the spirit of strategy alive,” said Chris Ansell, CMO of MicroProse. “It offers a rich, immersive experience with a variety of playstyles that will appeal to both seasoned RTS veterans and new players alike.”
Battlefall: State of Conflict drops you into a fierce fight for control in a world devastated by futuristic superweapons. Choose from three distinct factions battling for survival in a hostile wasteland. These groups include the disciplined Earth Forces Network (EFNET), the unpredictable Scrappers, and the ruthless SEL (Synthetic Enhanced Lifeforms).
What sets Battlefall apart is the freedom it gives you. With the Battlefall Upgrade system, you can customize your forces on the go, using rare rewards earned in combat. These upgrades unlock countless strategies to outsmart your enemies. With no limits on building or army size, every battle feels fresh, offering endless tactical possibilities.
