Get Ready for Arcade Archives POWER SPIKES
Hamster Corporation is thrilled to announce that Arcade Archives POWER SPIKES is now available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It is the latest addition to their Arcade Archives series, which faithfully reproduces many classic masterpieces. Take a look at the official trailer of the game below.
POWER SPIKES is a retro sports game from VIDEO SYSTEM that came out back in 1991. This is the second game in the “Super Volleyball” series, and just like the first, the controls are easy to pick up. However, the gameplay has become even more exciting with added depth. You can now use strategies like timed attacks, feints, and new types of serves to outsmart your opponents.
As usual, the game will be available digitally on the PlayStation store and Nintendo eShop for $7.99. And just like any other game in the series, it uses the Japanese ROM for the main part. The options menu and manual are available in Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Just like in other arcade games in the series, players will also get to change various game settings such as the difficulty. They can even reproduce the atmosphere of an arcade display at any time. There is even a high-score leaderboard as well for everyone to compete with one another.
