Tales of the Shire brings fans of The Lord of the Rings into a peaceful corner of Middle-earth. Instead of epic battles, this game focuses on the cozy life in The Shire. You’ll get to create your own Hobbit and settle into a charming hobbit hole in Bywater. So, get ready to become part of the friendly Hobbit community.
Players will enjoy different tasks like gathering ingredients for breakfast, fishing, tending their gardens, and sprucing up their cozy hobbit home. The village of Bywater will be buzzing with fellow hobbits, offering quests, trading rare goods, and sharing tips to help the new hobbit feel right at home.
Tales Of The Shire is the first game from Weta Workshop’s video game division, which started back in 2014. Weta is best known for its amazing movie effects, working on films like Alien: Romulus and Dune Part Two. As well as the Tolkien series The Rings Of Power on Amazon Prime.
Hobbit Day, the inspiration behind this Tales Of The Shire stream, kicks off Tolkien Week, a fun celebration of J.R.R. Tolkien’s amazing stories. Each year, on September 22, fans celebrate the birthdays of two beloved Hobbits, Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, who are central figures in The Lord of the Rings franchise.
