The indie game studio Paper Cat Games has announced that Paper Perjury is launching on PC via Steam on 4th October 2024. Yes, the Ace Attorney-inspired mystery game will finally let players handcuff some criminals on this day. This demo offers everyone to experience the first case of the game, so dive right in before it officially comes out.
Paper Jury is a 2D point-and-click detective adventure game where you play as Justina Smith, a newly hired clerk at the Azure City Police Department. While investigating a simple robbery, she ends up getting involved in a series of suspicious crimes. There are five interconnected cases in the game which form one large mystery to be solved.
You’ll also get to team up with the energetic detectives Ernest Hunt and Sofie Swift and investigate these crime scenes. You will also meet interesting characters with different personalities along the way. It ranges from a tea-loving lawyer, a cowboy barber, a magician, and even a cat. Each one of them has a story to tell and may reveal a clue or two related to the case.
