Exit Plan Games has announced that their next title, Panic in the Woods is coming to Steam on Friday, the 13th of September 2024. It is a horror survival single-player or co-op extraction game for up to 4 players that takes place in the dark corners of the Bang-on Balls Universe. In Panic In The Woods, you take on the role of Boy Scouts lost in a creepy, cursed forest where demonic creatures roam freely. Whether you’re playing solo or teaming up with up to four friends, your mission is clear but dangerous: survive the nightmarish woods, track down keys to unlock gates leading to terrifying dimensions, and gather powerful artifacts.
These artifacts are the key to performing a ritual that will banish the evil forces for good and finally free you from the haunted forest’s grip. Every step is a battle for survival, and every decision could be your last. Players must use their smarts, teamwork, and walkie-talkies to survive in this dangerous place.
Scattered across the map are tools like radars to find hell gates, traps, and power-ups to outsmart the monster that reacts to every noise. But be careful as the resources are scarce, so you must use them wisely. If the team gets caught, the ritual fails, and they have to start over with a new setup. Every session is different, with new objectives and tools randomly placed on the map, so no two playthroughs are the same.
