Indie game developer Mad Mango Games has finally revealed that its upcoming title Knightica is releasing on Steam in early 2025. Moreover, a public demo is also coming out later this September for everyone to try out. Take a look at the official reveal trailer below to get a glimpse of the game.
Knightica is a turn-based roguelike auto battler where you become the leader of an army of powerful units. It draws heavy inspiration from other titles like Teamfight Tactics, Backpack Battles, and Total War. Your main duty in the game is to gather a group of brave, adorable warriors and set out to liberate the Kingdom from the wicked enemies.
Recruit units of different shapes and sizes, and make them work together by positioning and rotating them to use their unique abilities. Pick your commander, units, and items, and choose your path. Each run offers new ways to try powerful combinations, making every adventure different.
Upgrade your units, overwhelm enemies, find ideal allies, or focus on your economy. Use your items, troops, and commanders to discover the best strategy.
