During the Future Game Show, Playdigious Originals announced that they will be publishing Crown Gambit, the narrative adventure title from studio Wild Wits. The game recently had a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over 30k dollars. The team is planning to release it in 2025 on PC via Steam, so stay tuned for more details.
Crown Gambit is a card-based tactical narrative adventure game. You will be leading three brave paladins through a city drowning in chaos and political turmoil. As the kingdom teeters on the edge, you must pledge your allegiance to one of the pretenders to the throne and help them seize power.
Choose your side carefully, as you’ll face power-hungry knights, cunning nobles, and rebellious commoners. Use ancient relics to overcome these enemies and navigate the treacherous path ahead. Your choices will determine whether you rise to power or fall, and shape the future of the realm.
