Folklore Games has officially announced the release date for their upcoming title Spiral. This highly anticipated narrative-adventure game will launch via Steam and the Epic Games Store on Xbox consoles and PC. Spiral is a third-person narrative exploration game that puts you in the shoes of Bernard Penfield. He is an introverted writer counting his days left on this place. However, by a twist of fate, he gets invited to the very beginning of his life him re-experience his memories one last time. You will find out Bernard’s memories at different phases in his life.
Along the way, you will come across a cast of diverse characters in his family and friends. They will also help guide you through the biggest moments in life. As the story goes on, Bernard’s memory problems will get worse, affecting everything around him, including the setting, conversations, and music. By deeply exploring his memories, Bernard might be able to remember details longer and share things that could otherwise be forgotten.
The game will be available for a standard price of $23.99 on Steam. In the meantime, check out the free demo version which is on both platforms right now. Following its release on PC and Switch, it will be coming out on PS5 and Switch at a later date.
