2P Games and KK Narratif have announced the release date for their upcoming title Fragment: A Story in Growing. This cozy narrative-driven life sim will be released on Steam on 1st August 2024. The standard price of the game will be $12.99/€12,79/£10.99 but there will be a 15% discount during the first two weeks. Additionally, a free demo is already available on the platform for everyone to try out.
In Fragment: A Story in Growing, you will step inside the shoes of a young widowed father busy in the workplace. You will face the challenge of a harsh workplace with minimal salary and the emergency of taking care of your growing daughter. Make every decision with proper planning as it will have a huge impact on other aspects of your life.
As it is a text-based narrative game, you will make choices by grouping different words. Your goal is to keep a balance between health, money, and food. If you fail to do so, the consequences will be catastrophic.
The game will also come up with random events grouped into four themes, namely work, socializing, parenting, and private time. Deciding whether or not to participate will reshape your everyday experiences. It also offers a nostalgic escape through a photo album, allowing you to reflect on the character’s journey.
