CritterGarden Has Released a Demo and a Trailer for Steam Farming Fest

Restore a Thriving Ecosystem in CritterGarden

The indie game developer Minjonia Studios has released a demo of CritterGarden for its participation in Steam Farming Fest along with a trailer. The event starts today and it will end on 6 May 2024. Take a look at the trailer below to get a glimpse of the game before its official release.

CritterGarden is a relaxing creature collector and farming sim that takes huge inspiration from Viva Piñata. You will step inside the shoes of an astrobiologist stranded on a lifeless planet. Use the help of the planet’s life-supporting AI to explore the planet and find lost parts of your ship.

Your goal is to return home safe and sound. In the meantime, you must use your gardening and scientific abilities to restore life by building ecosystems and collecting Critters. Utilize tools, plant seeds, and place objects to craft a thriving ecosystem across nine biomes. Remember, every Critter has different needs, so, make sure to carefully manage your space and resources for different species.

Along the way, you will discover new Critters through evolutions. Every one of them is related to a grand tree of life. The game features several obstacles, preventing you from reaching new areas and the lost parts of your ship. Your Critters will help you in a variety of mini-games that will help you progress and unlock these paths. As you progress, you will learn more about the dark past of the mysterious planet that you are stuck in.
