Take down the Bosses in Arcade Archives SILK WORM
Get ready for yet another nostalgic experience! Hamster Corporation has proudly announced that Arcade Archives SILK WORM is launching today on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It is the latest addition to their Arcade Archive series, which faithfully reproduces many classic masterpieces.
SILK WORM is a 2D shooting game released back in 1988 by TEMCO. Two players can hop right into it to experience the thrill of vehicle-based combat. 1P operates a helicopter while 2P drives a light armored vehicle. Together, they must embark on epic missions, defeat the bosses at the end of each stage, and progress through the levels.
Players will get to change various game settings such as the difficulty. They can even reproduce the atmosphere of an arcade display at any time. There is even a high-score leaderboard as well for everyone to compete with one another.
As usual, the game will be available digitally on the PS Store and Nintendo eShop for $7.99. And just like any other game in the series, it uses the Japanese ROM for the main part. The options menu and manual are available in Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
