Prepare yourself for some environmental chaos. Developer Hippo Havoc and publisher VoxPop Game have officially announced the release date for their upcoming title Disaster Golf. It will be available on Steam on Tuesday, 23 January for $1.99. Make sure to put in on your wish today.
Additionally, a free demo version of the game will also be coming one week before the official launch. It will be arriving on the same platform on 16 January for everyone to try out.
Disaster Golf offers a fresh, high-paced approach to golf, demanding quick reactions on the course. Unlike other golf games, this one doesn’t need clubs to play. That is right, you will be using different natural disasters to move the ball. You can send meteors to blast the ball or trigger earthquakes to surge it forward. Or even use wind as a putter to gently put it inside the hole. The possibilities are just endless.
Not only that, you don’t need to wait for the ball to stop moving. Meaning you can hit it as soon as you can. The game is all about speed and how fast you can score. Use various combinations of natural disasters to achieve it. More importantly, there is a global leaderboard system for everyone to compete for the fastest time.
The game also features different environments ranging from beaches to jungles. Have fun exploring the beautiful worlds as you wreak havoc in each one of them. If you ever get tired of choosing your disasters, go ahead and try the Challenge mode. This mode will provide you with preset disasters for you to explore a unique way of playing.
