Enjoy the Horror of Dementium: The Ward in HD Mode
We have exciting news for everyone! The Nintendo DS cult classic horror game Dementium: The Ward arrived on the Nintendo Switch on 13 October of this year. Now, the developer Atooi released a free HD update for the game to celebrate this holiday season.
Players can finally pause the title during gameplay, select the options menu, and change the display to HI-RES. This will provide the game with a clear resolution of 1080P when played docked and 720P in handheld mode. Additionally, you have the option to switch to HI-RES CRT mode.
Before this update, the game exclusively provided a RETRO display mode, essentially replicating the Nintendo 3DS display at 240P. And of course, this latest Switch version comes with support for a seamlessly smooth gameplay experience at 60 frames per second.
Here is the rundown of the update:
“Fans of crisp polygons can choose the HI-RES option to view the game in 1080P (docked) and 720P (handheld), while also having the option to view HI-RES CRT if that is what you seek.
“Those longing for crunchy pixels will still be able to enjoy that cozy experience with the RETRO option, while still being able to view RETRO CRT for that extra touch of nostalgia.”
