In the immersive world of Starfield, players on the PC version have the unique ability to employ cheats through the Command Console. It’s essential to note that this feature is exclusive to the PC version, and the Xbox console version does not offer access to the Command Console.
Accessing the Command Console
To open the Command Console, follow these steps:
- For users with a US English Keyboard, press the “~” key to bring up the Command Console.
- For users with keyboards in other languages, the key to access the Command Console may vary. For instance, on a German keyboard, it could be “ö.” If you’re unable to locate the key on your region’s keyboard layout, consider changing your keyboard layout to US English in Windows Settings. You can do this by navigating to “Time & Language” > “Language & Region” > “Preferred languages” > “Add language,” and select “English United States.” You can conveniently switch between keyboard layouts using the CTRL+Shift shortcut or by clicking the language selection in the bottom right of the taskbar, next to the time and speaker icons. Once you’ve switched to the US layout, the key to access the Command Console will typically be located in the top left corner of your keyboard, to the left of the number “1.”
When you’ve correctly followed these steps, the Command Console will appear, allowing you to input text commands in the bottom left section.
To close the Command Console, press the same key that you used to open it.
