Tactical Gangsta Fire
Earlier this week Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was revealed… again. When you have a series that puts out a new game every year, there is a balance that you must achieve. There has to be the familiarity and feel of previous successes, but also enough innovation to make fans want it.
There are a few “New Gameplay Innovation” points that Sledgehammer is making in its reveal. Tac-Stance, Evolving Loadouts, and After-Market Parts are features that expand on gameplay elements from previous titles. When the game comes out, we will see if these are hits with players.
Tac-Stance is a new mode of aiming, which can be toggle on or off and can be used with most weapons. Instead of firing from the hip or aiming down sights, Tac-Stance uses the best of both worlds. Characters will sight up with their guns, but tilt the weapon to give more mobility and motion while retaining precision.
Evolving Loadouts include more than just weapons and attachments. Modern Warfare III loadouts will also include equipment like gloves, boots, and tactical vests. More information is needed, but the advantages these specifications could include faster reloading, faster ADS, less damage to body, or faster player movement.
After-Market Parts provide a deeper customization experience in Gunsmith. Here, you can make your weapons to your exact combat specifications with unique configurations. For example, placement of grips can affect recoil and mobility.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be coming out on November 10th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
