Testament: The Order of High Human Launches Next Month

Hi, Human

High fantasy is such a versatile genre of story-telling in gaming. You can apply it to almost any kind of gameplay style and make it work. Testament: The Order of High Human doesn’t exactly break new ground with its first-person RPG style, but the gaming landscape is fertile enough to seed some interest.

Sure, Bethesda may still be releasing Skyrim today, but if you are tired of replaying it as a stealth archer, maybe give Testament a go. Fairyship Games released a demo for their game today. The full release is also just two weeks away.

Testament: The Order of High Human

As per the press release, the story of Testament goes: “Aran has been betrayed by his brother, Arva, and robbed of his powers as the world around him is plunged into darkness and overrun by ominous creatures. Players will be tasked with regaining his powers and confronting Arva to restore Tessara to its former glory, upgrading his sword, bow, and magic abilities as they go to develop their own unique fighting style.

Players can use their sword, bow, and magic in complimentary ways. Consumable items can also enhance your abilities and weapons, augmenting their utility to your personal preference.

The trailer for Testament: The Order of High Human also shows platforming and traversal sections. While those elements may be questionable for a first-person game, it will hopefully mix up the gameplay beyond combat.

Testament: The Order of High Human will be coming out on July 13th for PC. Xbox and PlayStation versions are planned, but no details of their release are available. The demo for the game is available on Steam.
