Warlander Launches On Xbox and PlayStation In Mid May
Publisher Plaion and indie developer Toylogic released their online multiplayer warfare game, Warlander, on PC via Steam earlier this year. Since then, the team has been working on a console release for the title. Today, the companies have confirmed that the game will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 18th. Furthermore, the console versions of the game will feature cross-play with each other and the game’s PC version. It is a free-to-play third person multiplayer warfare game.
As the companies prepare for the game’s console launch, they have introduced new content. Thus, fans will be able to jump into Dawn Bridge B and Moonlit Temple maps. Each map offers different experiences, with unique features that can be used in battle. Moreover, there are two new skills to enjoy which are the Divine Hammer and the Phoenix. On Steam, the developers note that there have been over 400,000 battles, with one million players entering the fight.
Also, interested fans have the perfect opportunity to enter the game with the start of the Season Pass for Season 1, which contains new weapons, titles, emblems and armor skins. The shop will receive an update with new items available at the start of the season.
In the game, players will jump into a unique game that is a hybrid between a shooter, hack-and-slash and strategy game where 100 players in five armies fight to destroy each other’s castles. The war is a ton of fun!
