Psychological Thriller Loretta Launches In Mid February On PC
Dangen Entertainment is a video game developer that works on several indie titles. Some of its past releases include The Witch House, The Last Spell and One Shot: World Machine Edition. Dangen Entertainment has partnered with Yakov Bustoff to release a psychological thriller, Loretta. The game will be available on PC via Steam, GOG and other major stores on February 16th. Furthermore, persons can look forward to a release of the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch at a later date.
In the game, the protagonist is a housewife whose husband is a writer. Unfortunately, the family moved from New York City to a dilapidated farmhouse in the rural south, where she finds out about her husband’s infidelity and insurance policy. As a result, Loretta concocts a scary and grisly plan, and players must be the decision makers to decide her fate. Furthermore, the game’s art style is based on film noir and draws inspiration from Andrew Wyeth, Edward Hooper, Alfred Hitchcock and Stephen King.
Moreover, players will enter a journey filled with dialogue, tough decisions and severe consequences as Loretta must solve cryptic puzzles where she uncovers her past and discover new levels of desperation. Additionally, the developers have ensured that players can replay the game, as there are multiple endings and a custom experience based on each decision made. As a psychological thriller, the game is unique!
