Orbit.Industries Open Beta Goes Live Later This Month
Get ready to join the space race and start managing your own space stations because Orbit.Industries hits open beta on February 17. The game will run from February 17 to 20 and have you building space stations all over space.
Like any open beta, the goal here is to gather data. Developers LAB132 want players to jump in and give feedback so they can improve the game before the full launch. If managing space stations sounds like a good time, Orbit.Industries seems worth checking out. At least for the open beta.
Orbit.Industries features three different campaigns that place your space station on different planets. The goal is to terraform each planet so it can sustain human life while having resources to flourish.
Orbit.Industries also features a creative and endless mode. Creative will allow players to build their space station however they want with no constraints. All technology is unlocked from the beginning, and players have unlimited money.
Endless mode simply has no set objective, unlike in the campaign. In endless mode, you are just set to build your space station, well, endlessly! You will unlock money and new technology through different projects and just create the space station you want.
Key Features:
- Full 3D Orbital Station shown in two different visual perspectives
- Setup and management of production pipelines and cycles
- Research and Development of new production-related technologies
- Procurement and reward systems to keep players constantly engaged
- Contracts players can accept for one of two reasons:
– Earn money for the space station in form of a reward
– Research and unlock new technologies, in the form of a new module required for building - 54 extension modules you may build and expand your station
