Dying Light 2 PlayStation 5 Gameplay Shows Off Three ModesÂ
Techland is a Polish based video game company that has created Dying Light and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Techland’s Dying Light 2 is one of the most anticipated titles of 2022, as fans are excited to jump back into a world of mayhem. Dying Light 2 is set to release on various platforms, including PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, on 4th February, 2022. Ahead of its release, Techland has unveiled different modes that players can utilize on the PlayStation 5, depending on their preference.
As technology advances, consoles will be able to do amazing things. The game, on PlayStation 5, can utilize three different modes. These modes are the Performance Mode, Resolution Mode and Quality Mode. The Performance Mode is quite simple. Players will experience the game at 60FPS+ and from the video, there doesn’t seem to be much of a graphical drop-off.
The Resolution Mode allows players to enjoy the game in 4K resolution. This mode is dependent upon TV and monitor capabilities and may not be as worth as the other two options. Quality Mode with Ray Tracing is the final option. It offers the most detailed and beautiful world. Unfortunately, it may come at at cost in terms of performance.
Personally, I would choose the Performance Mode for most of my sessions. FPS and smoothness in a fast-paced game such as Dying Light 2 is key. However, every mode looks good and unless there are serious performance issues, players should try each one!
In Dying Light 2, players must survive in a hostile environment as Aiden Caldwell. Players must endure a hostile, post apocalyptic world.
