My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble Will Be a Battle Royale
Today, Bandai Namco announced a brand new free-to-play battle royale game based on the popular My Hero Academia anime. My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble will pit players against one another in a 24-player rumble. The game will come to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The game was revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Jump. However, it currently has no official release date. What we do know is that Bandai Namco will operate the game in a closed beta to start. This will give the developer some time to stress test the game and work out any major issues and bugs. Interested players will be able to sign up for the closed beta at some point soon.
My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble joins My Hero Ultra Impact as another upcoming game based on the popular anime. Ultra Impact was released in Japan last May but has not seen a Western release yet. Ultra Impact differs from Ultra Rumble, as it is a mobile turn-based role-playing game. You can pre-register for that game on the App Store or Google Play Store.
