It Just Makes Sense
The Xbox Game Pass has become a premier subscription option for gamers worldwide as it offers top tier monthly releases and continuous upgrades in a clear attempt to make games on both the Xbox and PC easily accessible. At just USD$14.99 a month for the Ultimate Gamepass that includes features such as EA Play Membership, Xbox Live Gold subscription, exclusive member discounts and consistent new releases, most gamers would find the Gamepass option to be a ‘steal of a deal’ if they could look past the subscription aspect. Once again, Microsoft has been able to attain a notable game immediately upon release as Jeff Hattem, Head of Studio and Creative Director of Tuque Games, announced that Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance would be available on the Microsoft Gamepass on Day One. On 22nd June, Dark Alliance will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows 10 PC and capable phones and tablets via the Xbox Gaming Cloud.
Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance is another addition to the incredibly popular series and this entry goes beyond the more complex approach of the games in the past, as Dark Alliance is a third-person action brawler that drops players into Icewind Dale to take on tenacious monsters and gather epic loot. The game supports four player co-op and facilitates crossplay between PC and Xbox. Dark Alliance allows players to select one of four heroes each with different tactics and strategies that assist in fights, whether it be via bow and arrow in long-ranged combat or by utilizing stealth to be elusive.
As the game is set to launch on 22nd June, only a bit more than a month away, the developers have announced that from May 14th and every Friday until launch, gameplay will be showcased on Twitch from 12P.M. E.T.!
